The Home Of Director Roland Emmerich In London

The panelled study features a table shaped like a missile
Hollywood director Roland Emmerich has decorated his London home with political imagery – from murals of Mao and Lenin to a model of Abu Ghraib.
The London home of director Roland Emmerich is a melting pot of styles, political art, taxidermy, large murals and odd-ball collections. We’re especially fond of the small room painted entirely with chalkboard paint! The New York Times gives us a peak inside the unique interior of the home in the conservative district of Knightsbridge…
“Nothing is spared, from government and gender to race and religion – but there’s no manifesto”, says British interior designer John Teall. “The idea was to provoke thought, amuse and maybe shock a little.”

The American bedroom features a bed throw made from vintage army underwear, a headboard made from an aeroplane wing, and a Photoshopped photograph of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sporting a dressing gown and a hairy six-pack

White Living Room Decor

First, recognize that whites come in a wide range of shades and tones. There is a bright, flat white that you find often on walls, and a bright, glossy white that is often used for trim to contrast against a bright or dark wall color. White is considered the most popular neutral color and was almost a default color for walls, ceilings and bed sheets in older times.

Having an all-white room also allows you to really make a statement with the color you do have in the room. Here, the potted tree and the piano are real eye-catchers. Any time you want to draw attention to something with color, such as a work of art or a special chair, just create an all-white room around it, and it will really stand out.
