The interior design of beautiful apartment in Amsterdam by i29 Architects. This single-family apartment for four people is situated in a stately building in southern Amsterdam, NL. The original structure, with rooms for staff, a double hall and long hallways with lots of doors has been transformed into a spacious, transparent dwelling full of light and air.
A steel staircase links the living room to the owner’sv private space underneath the roof.
The kitchen in combination with cabinets from floor to ceiling has laser-cut front panels, all spray painted white.

Baby Nursery Room Design ideas

The cushion at the front is by Hettle and the striped cushion is from Adairs. They usually end up on the floor too.

Robert’s toy car is parked at the very entrance to his room. Whenever Robert spots the zebra sitting on the car he knocks him off. It didn’t last long after I took this photo.

There’s something so heartwarming about a baby’s nursery in the beginning. It’s been prepared with love and attention and is just waiting for…the baby. And then the baby arrives and grows and their needs change and so too does their room. (via: Ish and Chi)

Plywood Bookshelf by Linfa Design




DNA Bookcase by Linfa Design is one of those furniture pieces that could serve different purposes at once. Besides holding books it could be used as a room divider. The bookshelf is made in curved plywood, beech veneered with black finished steel frame. As you might already understood it reminds a human DNA.
