Modern Minimalist Look Sanitary Ware in Rustic Bathroom
Rustic decor is a popular trend partially because it allows for eclectic pieces that are more affordable but also because it blends well with other types of decor such as bohemian modern, shabby chic, cottage style, green design and cabin style. This rustic style bathroom was designed by Gunni, with all white modern sanitary ware, the clean, white palette, the cool porcelain and the contemporary minimalist look of the sink, tub, toilet and bidet are an unlikely but ideal complement to this earthy bathroom with a Zen atmosphere that promotes good taste. photo found on trendir.

Tuscany style is one of simplicity and nature and is a great home decorating idea. Tuscany decorating comes fromthe Tuscany Valley in Italy and is meant to bring the outdoors in. Tuscany style is unique as well as beautiful and cosy.
All those who visit Tuscany and fall in love with its wonderful hills and typical stone-wall farm houses also wish to bring home the very same Tuscan decor and create in their place the very same unique Tuscan country style.
Textures are a big part of the Tuscany theme. It involves the use of stone and primative tile for the flooring but wood orlaminate floors can also be added to the mix. The beauty of the majority of these creations is based on their simplicity. The real Tuscan style is a combination of natural stones, wood and colors. This decor style expresses inner peace, comfort and warmth, so that you and your guests can feel comfortably at ease.

Home Update–Window Treatment Designs

Canopy of Curtains
Held to the side with fabric ties, pleated floor-length drapes create a canopy effect in the master bedroom.

Short Shutters
Turn-of-the-century furnishings include painted half shutters across the bottom of the windows and a swag of striped fabric across the top.

Consider Curtain Lining
Line curtains with thick, dark fabric to cut down on glare in naturally bright rooms. Lining also helps protect drapes from dust and color fading.

Unifying Design
Yellow and blue toile covers French doors in the dining room and windows in the kitchen, unifying the two separate spaces.

Lace Garland
Instead of full window treatments, string a lace border along kitchen windows. It will let more light into a dark room and add vintage charm.

Vintage Shutters
Vintage louvered shutters replace curtains or blinds, making the window a focal point in the red-and-white dining room.

Bay Window
Red print fabric hangs artfully in front of this kitchen’s small bay window.

Double Treatment
Sometimes two window treatments are better than one. A swag of red-and-white gingham hangs over white hinged Colonial shutters.

Single Pattern
In this small guest room, a single, blue-and-white pattern covers the walls and a traditional valance, as well as accenting pleated shades.
