Hollywood director Roland Emmerich has decorated his London home with political imagery – from murals of Mao and Lenin to a model of Abu Ghraib.

The London home of director Roland Emmerich is a melting pot of styles, political art, taxidermy, large murals and odd-ball collections. We’re especially fond of the small room painted entirely with chalkboard paint! My favorate interior design project from countryliving. This is a 19th-century houses in New York’s Catskills, renovate by Gotham magazine lifestyle editor, Jason Oliver Nixon, and decorator John Loecke , now it is a weekend retreat, full of color, bold prints, and a playful spirit.
